MEET Katryn

Katryn is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. She recently graduated from Pepperdine University with a Master of Education in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family counseling.

 

She is a mindfulness and somatic-based counselor who believes that trauma and stress can be held within the body. Processing it in mindful ways aids in breaking old habits, reframing powerful beliefs, and unsettling feelings that have anchored you from moving forward in life to accomplish your goals.

 

Using Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychoeducation, and Dialectical Behavior strategies, Katryn works to collaborate with her clients.

Katryn has gained insight through her practicum in working with those experiencing anxiety, couples counseling, depression, grief, PTSD, and women’s issues. She is also passionate about working within the LGBTQ+ community and providing space for anyone in need.
